
Jessica Banning
With more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, Jessica brings a diverse clinical background to her role as Care Coordinator and Veterinary Technician at Columbia Equine Hospital. Her career in human medicine includes primary care as well as adult and pediatric trauma, providing her with a strong foundation in patient care, client communication, and compassionate service.
A lifelong equestrian, Jessica has ridden horses since childhood and has always been passionate about the equine industry. Following the challenges healthcare professionals faced during the COVID-19 pandemic, she made the decision to transition from human healthcare to pursue her lifelong passion for equine medicine full time.
Jessica’s experience includes equine sports medicine, reproduction including Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), as well as performance horse care. Outside of Columbia Equine Hospital, she owns and operates a barrel racing association and stallion incentive program. She also provides Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy and equine sports massage, helping equine athletes recover, perform, and maintain peak physical condition.
